Matka Svetla

Mother of Light

Martin Repa

She was born from a spring no one had ever seen, yet everyone felt its power. She was young, radiant, and free. She longed to be a light in a world full of shadows, but she did not yet know how to  fulfill her destiny. People called her Truth. She traveled through the lands of thoughts and dreams, marveling at the beauty of knowledge and believing that every piece of the world carried a small reflection of herself. She often asked, “How can I bring peace to a place filled with chaos?” It was a  time of searching, when her own questions were unclear, and her answers fleeting.

As the years passed, Truth found an answer to her quest. She gave birth to two daughters, Questions and Answers. Questions were fearless and full of curiosity, while Answers were humble, calm, and thoughtful. Truth taught them that every person carries their own piece of knowledge and that they must be patient and respectful. She warned Questions to be like a light in the darkness, not a shadow that frightens. “Your role is to show the way, not to judge,” she said. To Answers, she reminded that their strength lay in gentleness, not in stubborn certainty. “If you listen, you will be understood,” she  advised.

When Truth grew old, she watched as her daughters matured and found their places in the world. Questions learned to be wise and kind, opening hearts rather than closing them. Answers became grateful and humble, realizing that they didn’t always need to have the final word. Truth no longer needed to speak, her silence was enough. In that silence, the greatest understandings were born. She  told her daughters, “Be gates to understanding. As long as you stay together, the world will never be lost in darkness.”

One evening, as the sun set beyond the horizon, Truth called her daughters to her side and, with a  faint smile, said, “My beloved ones, I need nothing more. You are the answer to the questions I  once had. Remember that strength lies in gentleness and that every piece of the world carries something of me. So cherish everyone you meet.” Truth then fell silent, and her daughters left to  spread her wisdom. Questions illuminated the paths, and Answers built the bridges. Truth rested peacefully, knowing that her message would live on in every heart that seeks and finds. And she became what she was meant to be, a dawn on the horizon, quiet, inevitable, and always arriving whenever someone unafraid to look far needed a light to guide their way...
